Bowinn Ma

Bowinn Ma has served as a BC MLA for North Vancouver-Lonsdale since 2017 and was appointed Minister of State for Infrastructure in 2020. She is a licensed Professional Engineer and a certified Project Management Professional with a graduate degree from the UBC Sauder School of Business. Known primarily for her work in sustainable transportation, Bowinn has also championed local investments in affordable housing, child care, and education. Bowinn is committed to urgent action on the climate emergency and has made headlines as an MLA for speaking publicly about difficult topics like racism, sexism, and eating disorders. She lives in North Vancouver with her partner and two cats.

Christine Boyle

Christine Boyle is a community organizer, climate justice activist, United Church Minister, and a founding member of OneCity Vancouver. She is passionate about tackling inequality and housing justice while supporting anti-racism efforts and Indigenous rights. Prior to political life, Christine led strategic communications at the Columbia, supported GreenJobs BC, led multi-faith climate justice efforts nationally, and was an outreach worker at First United Church in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Christine has an BSc in Urban Agriculture and First Nations Studies from UBC, and an MA in Religious Leadership for Social Change from Berkeley, CA. She lives in East Vancouver with her partner and two kids.
